FMA logs filling up my system

Hello,

I'm trying to find out how to stop the FMA logs from filling up my server.

location of logs: /var/fm/fmd

I have found info on clearing out the logs and setting up log rotation.  These are only tempary fixes. I need a way to turn down the frequency the logs are written to. I have turned off the service in order to stop the logs from filling my /var partition.

scvadm disable -s svc:/system/fmd:default

If there is an error, of course I need to fix it of course but sometimes the issue can't be fixed right away. In this case I a way to stop the logs from repeating the same thing over and over and over. I need to turn down the verbosity.
