Need to handle the Control period status to automate AP period process

We need to make automatic the closing processes of AP,PO, INV modules . We are 11.5.10.2.

I need to make the Control period status to close automatically without user's action.  Nedd to close the AP period to pass to PO closing.

How can I figure that?

Any APIs, package or sql statement?
