Question about adpatch

Hi Experts

Environment:

4 AP node:2 for web and 2 for concurrent processing
Non-shared appltop, when run adpatch ,we need to apply it on all 4 nodes.
and adpatch runs the database jobs all 4 times.
How do we get adpatch to run the database jobs on just the 1st node?

1.Is it ok to apply adpatch on the 1st node,then use adpatch options = nodatabaseportion to apply patch on other AP nodes
