LISTENER.ORA file created wrong names for database nodes (with virtual host name)

Hi All,

R 12.1.3  Two nodes PCP enables , shared Application Tier.

DB R11.2.0.4 two nodes RAC , ASM

we are following Using Oracle Real Application Clusters 11g Release 2 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 823587.1)

But in our setup , we used DBCA  to convert to RAC insted of rconfig and it went successful.

And rest followed above doc ,

Enabled AutoConfig on the  Applications Database Tiers .

But as per the Doc Troubleshooting Autoconfig issues with Oracle Applications RAC Databases (Doc ID 756050.1)


we facing the same issue as in 4. Autoconfig incorrectly updates listener names as SID rather than LISTENER_<hostname>.

--> and followed the solution from the doc , but issue remains same, Listener names are still pointing to SID of corresponsing instances.
