Oracle 12.1.0.2 32bit client installer failing with net configuration error on windows 64bit OS

Hi All,

I am trying to install Oracle 12.1.0.2 - 32bit client on 64bit Windows 2012 R2 mchine and it is failing during net configuration and MTS recovery component installation.

I have tested with a different Oracle client installer (12.1.0.2- 32bit) and all installation/configuration happened successful and no errors reported. I am not able to understand, if any changes in Oracle 12.1.0.2 installer?

Next, i have uninstalled the Oracle 12.1.0.1 client and after reboot, reinstalled the Oracle 12.1.0.2 client and this time, no errors reported and installation went smooth and installed successfully.

Please advise - what could be the issue or any architecture changes in Oracle 12.1.0.2 client installation.
