RECEIPTS API ** URGENT

Hey experts,


Please let me know if there is an api approach for creating PO receipts or is there any other way for creating receipt using api. I understand there is away using Receiving Transaction Processor by inserting data into interface tables but that takes time as execution time is dependent on Concurrent program. I want something which is as quick as it is in oracle. Please help me out its really urgent. At-least pointers for doing this or any smallest of information from you will be helpful.
