Is it possible to create Customized Portlets of E1 page?

Hi,

I have got 2 sample portlets of E1 page which is supported by Oracle. I uploaded the Zipfiles of the E1 page portlet in our system it worked well. Please confirm whether we can create customized Portlets of E1 page. Also please let me know how the Charts/Graphs are automatically getting

generated in portlets as shown below.

Do we need any other file as input other than ".dat" file for creating portlets?

The calling of applications,reports looks straigt forward as they use a combination of TaskID and MenuID to call the same

as shown below.
