EBS 11i to 12.2 Migration of Customizations

We have been running all our customizations under the schema CINT for more than a decade and are upgrading from ebs 11i to 12.2. When walking through the upgrade it seems to indicate that the only way to carry my customizations forward is to create a new schema called XXCINT and then migrate the contents of CINT into that. I would rather not do that though because it would require some effort to migrate everything. If I have to, should I be worried that I still have an application called CINT with a non standard name and a non standard
