Collector Field

in Receivables - EBS (MOSC) Question

We are looking to start using the Collector field in Customer Account Profile and Site Profile to distinquish AR for specific collectors, we currently do not have the Advanced Collections module, but would like to use those features available to Oracle Receivables in the future so we want to ensure we proceed in a way that does not hamper the future use of the collections screens.

- What is the difference in functionality between an individual collector and a collector added to a collection group in CRM Resource Manager.

- is ther a benefit to having the individual collector set as a collector in the AR setup > Collections > Collector as well as belinging to a collection group in CRM Resource Manager.
