Invoke configurator from subscription contract

We want to invoke configurator from subscription contract in order to calculate royalties quantities for SAAS deals.

unlike order management, service contract is not integrated with configurator.

does anyone have an example of how to lauch configurator for a specific model from EBS application other than order management/istore/quoting etc..

also i have noticed that the contract lines table posses columns  like "config_header_id", "config_revision_number" and others that are also in oe_order_lines_all table.

is there a mechanism that integrates configurator  to contracts?
