WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES data records increased from 1 M to 300 Million after R12 upgrade

Hi,

There is a huge growth of data after upgrading 11i to R12.

   

Tables        11i         R12
wf_item_actitvity_statuses172283451902694
wf_notification_attributes2765143132003641
WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES10441663367403777

In 11i the wf_items_attribute_values size was 2G and in R12 it has increased to 24G

Could someone put light here what could be the cause as I can not find any duplicate records.
