imported property from catalog element

Hi,

We plan to assign item catalog elelmnt and use them as imported proprties in configurator.

does anyone know how to have default values for these imported properties, for example, a descriptive element does not have a value for all items. for those items which are not assigned a value i would like to have a default value.

this can be done in properties created directly in configurator for which we assign a default value.

how can this be done for imported properties based on catalog elements?
