Siebel 8.1.1.10 Open UI: Exact PDQ name is not getting selected when user types the name of the PDQ

We have the issue when typing the first few letters of the F9 Template name or PDQs if incase it does have any special characters like '-' it does not take you to the expected place in the list of templates or PDQs .  Instead, it searches on any templates with that string  and the behavior was observed in LOVs, PDQs and F9 Templates.
Issue is reproducble in Open UI , not in HI Mode
