useing non stock item on a manufacture

When I use non stock item on a bill of material the system accepted with no error but after I running the Manufacturing Accounting for completion also it is look ok but when I run the Variance Journal Entries it is come with the amount variance of the non-stock item which it not OK. Is there any missing?
