Sim Factor Code &A1.... are there other options?

The system seems to use the Sim Rate Code and its factor and &A1 to multiply... is there a way of doing something like +A1 to just add a particular factor to the A1 cost?

We want to set up an X30 component which adds $0.03 to the A1 cost. We have a way of doing this by using another Sim Factor Code, but were wondering if there is another way of expressing this like "+A1" or something like that?
