WMS: Opportunistic Crossdocking

Hi all,

I intend to do opportunistic crossdocking in WMS & OPM enabled org. As FG inventory is yielded and LPNs are created in YIELD Subinventory, they must be crossdocked (i.e. allocated) to open sales order lines. Which means reservations are created for this pallet inventory and sales order lines are pegged. Order lines immediately go to "Released to Warehouse" status. Tasks are created which can be used to drop the pallet to the appropriate staging locator.

I understand from a Oracle Whitepaper that currently opportunistic crossdocking can have eligible supply sources as

a) Material in Receiving.

b) Mfg completions: Discrete & Flow/Job.
