Temp tablespace grows too big after database upgrade from 9i to 10g R2

Hi All

my environment is as follows

OS AIX 6.1

DB was 9i now upgraded to 10g R2 10.2.0.5

Application Oracle EBS 11i 11.5.10.2

after upgrading the database, temp tablespace is growing too huge. on 9i it was set to maximum 2 GB but never went over 400 MB

now it grows up with queries until reaching the maximum size then crashing. I added unlimited size tempfiles so it grow to 14 GB !!!

even after removing the unlimited option some queries are crashing with a 14 GB space !!!

I searched on the net and on oracle website, and all what I found is talking about providing more space or tuning the reports !!
