Multiple session at DB level in Siebel

Navigating through Order management is creating a new session at DB level and it is ending only after logging off from siebel.

I observed that, Logging into siebel creates a session at DB level and this session remains single untill I step into Order Journey.

Once I create a New Order or  perform any order related activity, a new session is getting created in DB and it continues to last untill I log-off from siebel.

Is this creation of new session at DB level normal.
