GL- Daily Rates Import Process ??

Hi,

We are in R12.1.3 and using the GL Process - "Program - Daily Rates Import and Calculation" to load exchange rates into Oracle GL.

The period - dates for which the exchange rates are being loaded into Oracle, does it require for that specific GL Period to be Open ??

i.e. I am loading exchange rates for 01-JAN-2015 to 31-JAN-2015 into Oracle GL. Does the import process require JAN-2015 to be open in GL?

Can somebody help me?
