Siebel Upgrade from 7.8.x to 8.1.1.14

Hi,

We are plannin to upgrade from Siebel 7.8.x to 8.1.1.14 version. As i understand this would be a Single Step Upgrade so i would like undeo brstand the pre requisities and errors which may occur during this upgrade and what are the action to be taken before start of upgrade . please advise
