Bang Algorithm

Hi,

I have a question on the way centroids are calculated in Bang algorithm in store clustering solution.

I am configuring a store clustering solution where I have extended the performance groups from 5 to 10.

Please see the attachment where I have displayed even the centroid value for each performance group.

What I expected was the centroids value either to be in ascending or descending order. Therefore having all either group 1 as my best performing group or group 10 to be my best performing group.

However, this looks random starting with 0.25 for 1st performance group, 5.28 for the 2nd group and back to 1.00 for the 3rd group.
