Direct Connect - Punchout and EDX (cXML) PO Dispatch - Error Handling

We are in the process of configuring Direct Connect - Punchout and EDX (cXML) PO Dispatch using POXMLP process. While dispatching the PO, PV_ORDER_REQ synchronous service operation message is successfully sent to the supplier. However sometimes we receive a status code 400 (failure) in the Response Message from the supplier due to bad data or some other scenario (e.g. <Response><Status code="400" text="Failure">Line #1: SupplierPartID must be specified for all items.</Status></Response>). We were able to resolve the above issue and place the order successfully. The IB Routing has Log Details set to 'Header + Detail' and the above response can be seen by navigating to 'Integration Broker > Service Operations > Monitor Monitoring > Synchronous Services'.
