R12.1.3 : MRP_RELIEF_INTERFACE grows significantly everyday

Hi,

we have huge records on MRP_RELIEF_INTERFACE table.

select count(*) from MRP_RELIEF_INTERFACE;

  COUNT(*)

----------

129954091

We do not use ASCP /MRP or WIP.   Hence, planning manager is not running.   I came across this note in metalink

How To Prevent MRP_RELIEF_INTERFACE Table Growth (Doc ID 1306525.1).      Can someone , please advise if we can truncate this table.  I am planning to execute this in production.   Hence needed advise before executing it.
