New Windows update creates issues with JDE Web

During the last week something seems to have changed and we can no longer work with IE9 and JDE.  There are two main problems.

1. If the user is at a zoom level other than 100% their menu's are not usable.

2. IE Seems to crash regularly, sometime giving an error.

So far our only solution was to upgrade to IE 10.

Has anyone else noticed this?
