R12.1.3+ to R12.2.4 - Note 1531121.1 - "Data dictionary corruption" - Hen and egg problem - ADZDDBC

Hi

We are in the process of upgrading from R12.1.3+ to R12.2.4, following the notes from Oracle

Currently we are stuck in Note 1531121.1 https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=1531121.1 because of this dilemma:

The note is saying to run several scripts (including ADZDDBCC.sql) until no more "data corruption" (including invalid objects) are present. Only once this is achived, we can proceed to enable online patching and get to R12.2.4 (the patch for R12.2.4 must be applied using adop).

However, after the upgrade to R12.2.0, we are getting about 40+ objects that are invalid. Per your advice, we have raised SR's against each product area (SR numbers 3-10103244371, 3-10117294471, 3-10117424041, 3-10116091509, 3-10116091501) to resolve the invalid object *before* enabling online patching.
