Use of Pricing Modifier to track costs but not apply to sales order?

Hi

Is there a possibility to use pricing modifiers to track costs included in an order but not be visible on the invoice?

I'd like to be able to open a sales order and see the Total Price of say €200 (Invoice price).

- Item List price €200

- View Adjustments and see multiple adjustments of say €10, €5, €2

From a report we can now see that from the list price of this item, €17 was actually costs.

I also understand we could adjust our list price to exclude the adjustments and then included these as part of the sales order but again I do not want them printed on the invoice.
