What Event Do I Use to Set a Value for a New Column Added to the Balance Sheet

I was wondering what if any event I can use to set a value in a new column in a financial report section.  I am working with the balance sheet and have text that I need to print conditional on each line.  If I go into the section event rules and use the Do section and it appears to only apply to the headings and totals (ex. Assets and Total Current Assets.
