When to increase number of lms process

Hello expert,

                     Recently in one of our server two lms processes are appearing in top cpu process very frequently.Not only these are comming as a highly cpu utilizied same is true for high memory utilization also.Can you please guide me under what condition I should think of increasing gcs_server_process?
