Date preferences in E1

Hi

We want to entend the use of planning days in order entry to calculate scheduled pick etc. based on request days and preferences (delivery days, preparation days).

Currently the "Workday" calendar is not taken into account because "Transportation module" isn't activated.

We don't need the "Transportation module" except for this functionality (at least for now).

We are using "Advanced Warehouse" and have a homebuild "Dispatch Module" (that uses some of the "Transportation" fields).

Does anyone have experience on any side effects when activating this module ?? (of course on the standard set up no mods).

We have a deadline to reach on our warehouse to have all orders packed etc. at a specific time, hence a cut of time for orders to be shipped on the same day.
