How to migrate EC from SPARC to x64?

I need advice, or an authoritative answer that it's not going to work, on migrating the EC from SPARC to x64. I thought I would plan to do a satadm backup on SPARC and satadm restore on x64. If necessary, I can change hostname and IP address so that the new machine has the same name and IP as the SPARC.

I am currently struggling to use Ops Center with 3 machine:, a 16GB M3000 EC; a 16GB V490 PC (for my legacy UltraSPARC environment); and a 8GB 5140 for Solaris 11. It works, mostly, at least until I try to update to the latest Ops Center when something invariably blows up in my face destroying the EC and requiring a reinstall not to mention that it is all painfully slow. We are getting new equipment, T5-2s with 256GB (or maybe it's 512GB) and X4-2 with 128GB RAM. Still sucking on Fiber Channel SAN for storage and management went with more
