P4915-Partiall receipt

Hello

Is there a way to do the partial receipt in P4915 as when we receive partial quantity the status jump to 70 so  after that if we try to receive the pending quantity it will show error

as the shipment already confirmed so I am very much confuse whether we can do partial receipt in P4915

Please help me out.
