sfspartition - Siebel File System Partition

Hi There,

We are planning for a siebel file system partition. We have a question regarding the number of folders that the existing partition can be distributed.

If the number of folders are more would it degrade the performance of the application. Please share the information.

Our current file system is 300 GB size and we are thinking of partitioning as 6 X 100 GB for future use.

Would it be ok if we partion as 6 X 100 GB or is it better to do as 2 X 300 GB? Please let me know.
