1099 from BIP - Copy B only?

I hope this is not too silly a question - being the non-accountant that I am.

BACKGROUND - We used the pre-printed 1099 forms in the past.  This year is the first year we are trying the BIP1099,  plan to print on plain paper and have BIP draw the boxes.  In the past we mailed to our suppliers "copy B" and "copy 2".  I see now the BIP template only print "copy B".

QUESTION -  Is there any issue with sending a supplier 2 "copy B" forms instead of a 2 and a B form?  I would like to hear what others are doing.
