Two different heirarchies for Purchase Requisition document type ?

We have a requirement wherein we need 2 heirarchies for the same Purchase requisition document type.

Type 1 Position heirarchy-- Where supplier is Known, will follow the current position heirarchy

Type 2 Employee supervisor Heirarchy --- where supplier is not known, need to follow a different pretender process.

Now, By using Approval Management Engine, can we put a logic such that, AME will check whether the supplier and supplier site are available in the requisition.

If they are available AME will route the purchase requisition to Type 1

If supplier and supplier site are not available on the requisition, then AME will route the requisition to Type 2
