Cannot Edit XPT Layout

Hello,

We are on Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.7.140715 (Linux 64 bit)

I have a functioning Report that has a bunch of XPT layouts with Tables/Charts.

There was a request to add some parameters to the data model so I added those, tested that data model generates data and saved sample data.

Next, I wanted to edit the XPT layouts and make some changes. Unfortunately, the layout editor either comes up blank or gives an error message to contact the system administrator.

Looking into the bipublisher.log, I can see this error:
