Patch:20050255 error: Unable to get/invalid temporary directory name set for APPLTMP

Hi Team,

While applying the Patch:20050255 in production environment we faced the following error

AutoPatch error:

Unable to get/invalid temporary directory name set for APPLTMP env variable.

AutoPatch error:

adfrjp(): Error creating worker temporary directories

An error occurred while generating Oracle Forms library files.

Continue as if it were successful [No] :

**********************************************************************************

We have used echo $APPLTMP,But we not found the appltmp directory on the location,directory was missing.

Actionplan implemented:Created directory Manually and passed Parameter as 'Yes'.

So pls let us know the route cause for the missing of the directory..
