Consolidation line doesn't create asset

We are seeing issues when we consolidate multiple interface lines to create one asset.  We can see the load status for the consolidated lines change to CONS, but the new line it creates doesn't create the asset and when searching for the line it is not found within the Interface Financial page.  Does anyone know what could cause this?
