Why 10G BIP Scheduled Jobs Randomly Fail With Permission Error on cluster environment?

edited Jan 28, 2015 11:08AM in BI Publisher (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered

Hello all,

We have installed in our Production environment the OBIP app version 10.1.3.4.2 set up in cluster (One LoadBalancer that redirects the access to one of the TWO existing OBIP instances on separate servers that are connected to the same database schema).

Some times, the reports that we have scheduled fail with the error described on Doc ID 1330421.1

Looking at the solution provided it is said: "Need to create new distinct scheduler instances for both instances."

As this is a clustered environment, it is not viable to have 2 scheduler schemas for the same environment, right?

Are we missing some configuration here? Is is possible to avoid this issue with the current configuration?

Howdy, Stranger!
