Object Reference Not Set to Instance of an object

Customer is using Microsoft Word 2010 on Windows 7.

BIP used is : Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.141014 .On installing and using in first place the plugin works fine. But after a day or two in almost all customer desktops/laptops they are encountering the subject line issue, while trying to do any BI publisher action like preview/upload template.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be the issue.
