GL_Ledger_Norm_Seg_Vals Table has Status Code of "I" on some records

GL_LGL_Ledger_Norm_Seg_Vals Table has Status Code of "I" on some records. What does this mean? Records with this Status Code are not appearing in the GL_Ledger_Segment_Values table. I've checked the accounting setup manager forms and all looks good. I see Balancing Segments assigned to Legal Entities and am able to use Balancing Segments in JE's
