Disable New Button in Edit Mode (Application-Wide)

in Siebel Business Process & Functionality (MOSC)

Hello,

Is it possible to disable "New" button in Edit-mode of all applets with minimum configuration at an application level? I understand this can be done at each applet level either by configuration or scripting. But to avoid this (almost) repetitive action in several applets, looking for any possibility to do it minimally.

Appreciate any feedback.
