OJVM PSU and RAC: What happened to high availability?

Hi

We have mostly 11.2.0.4 CRS on about two dozen clusters, and more than 200 databases of various 11gR2 releases.  Last quarter, I received the directive to address a significant Java flaw, with either the JVM mitigation patch, or the Oct 2014 OJVM PSU.  This was a matter of more than the usual urgency, since Oracle had classified the Java vulnerability as very significant.

I have been keeping up and applying PSUs to Clusterware and the 11.2.0.4 RDBMS.  It was one thing to apply an urgent patch and ask for one outage (OJVM PSU), but now this seems to be a permanent thing for Oracle?  The Jan 2015 PSU notes are out, and the Jan 2015 OJVM PSU is not rolling installable.
