One Internal Bank Account for Operating Units from Different Legal Entities?

in Payables and Cash Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Is it possible to have operating units from different legal entities use the same Internal Bank Account in EBS Payables R12.1?

Note:  We are on R12.1.3.

I know that it should be possible to assign multiple operating units (OUs) from the same Legal Entity to one internal bank account.  I have seen this setup referenced in several MOS Community discussions including 

If it is possible, then any setup examples, setup documentation, relevant white papers, or relevant presentations would be appreciated.
