Benefit Open Enrollment Forms

I need to remove the old benefit plans no longer available from our enrollment forms.  I've made the plan eligibility different so employees are not eligible.  Is it advisable to remove these plans?  How could I test to see if they will not longer appear on the enrollment form if I've already run them?
