Email Integration in Siebel Open UI.

Application  used by our client is on siebel 8.1.1.7. Client is now planning to upgrade it to 8.1.1.14 and subsequently enable Open UI.

While doing Gap Analysis, we understood that  in Siebel Open UI, Email integration feature doesn't work the same way it was in the previous siebel versions.

As of now the below functionality is in place:

Users use Outlook Integration to send F9 emails.   After pressing F9 an email template is selected substituting information into the email.  The user then Sends the email from Outlook.  The from address on the email is the Outlooks senders email address so replies from customers are received by the sender of the email.  An activity is created when the Outlook email is sent.
