Package body created (no errors). But status shows INVALID?

When I create a package and package body they get compiled successfully without any errors. But as soon as I check the status in dba_objects it shows me that the package is INVALID. The time of compilation and Last DDL is also same. Has anyone seen this behaviour? Please advice.
