R47032 performance issues

Hi

We are using the standard ASN extract program R47032 with extended ASN. However we are finding significant performance issues with this. What we are finding is that it is taking significant amount of time to write records to F47UI002 and F47UI001. In our current configuration we are not extracting the pallet information as part of the ASN. Suppose we are sending 20 cartons in a shipment. The program is writing 20 x 20=400 records into F47UI002. Not sure why. Did any one come across this issue. Is there anything that be done at a configuration level that would improve performance.
