Mail Automation on certain situations

Hi,

I am bit new to Solaris administration. I want to know on how can I generate an auto-mail if certain situation is reached. For example if my /root is 90+% full it should generate a mail with information to my mail ID.

Solaris version 10.5

Please Advise.
