adstpall.sh: exiting with status 1

hi,

    i am trying to startup or stop my application manager but i got error  "adstpall.sh: exiting with status 1" , i also ran the autoconfig which completed with error , when i checked in log file it shows that connection dos't established with database ,please help to resolve this issue
