In Work Order- "Direct Description" Item Type is not creating Purchase Requisition

Dear Experts,

I am using EAM Self-Service to create Work order and the created work order has 3 operations defined. For one of the operation i want to use "Direct Description" Item type to request for material by creating Purchase Requisition automatically. But after creating WO and changing the status to Release, the Purchase Requisition is not created.

I set the Profile option "PO: Enable Direct Delivery To Shop Floor" to Yes at responsibility level.

Kindly help me in fulfilling the setup.
